Why skirt your RV?

A barrier between your rig and the cold.

RV skirting seals the gap between your camper and the ground, trapping a pocket of warmer air underneath. That keeps your holding tanks from freezing, protects exposed plumbing, and stops icy wind from stealing the heat you're paying for.

Marine-grade vinyl is the material of choice: it stays flexible in deep cold, shrugs off UV and moisture, and won't crack or yellow like cheap poly sheeting. Pick clear vinyl to let light through, or a solid color for privacy and a finished look.

Lower heating bills

A sealed underbelly can cut cold-weather propane and electric use significantly.

Frozen-pipe protection

Keep tanks and water lines above freezing through the worst of winter.

Built for the elements

UV-stable, mildew-resistant, and cold-crack rated fro real winters.

DIY Guide

Install it yourself in an afternoon

No special skills required. With your vinyl, a kit, and basic hand tools, most RVers skirt their rigs in 3—5 hours.

01

Measure your rig

Measure the perimeter and the height from the body to the ground. Add a few inches for overlap and staking.

02

Cut your panels

Roll our your vinyl and cut panels to length with a straightedge and a sharp blade or heavy scissors.

03

Set grommets & snaps

Punch grommets along the top edge and attach snaps or twist locks to fasten the skirting to your rig.

04

Secure the bottom

Weigh or stake the bottom edge to seal out wind. Use a PVC pipe in a sewn pocket or sandbags along the base.
