Woven vinyl (Flexa) features Marine Grade PVC fibers woven together with various backing options for comfort and padding. It offers a luxury textile look with cushioning. Solid PVC (Marideck) is a single-piece construction that's completely waterproof with water beading on the surface. Marideck is easier to wipe clean but offers no padding, while woven vinyl provides more comfort underfoot.

16oz: Best for smaller boats, kayaks, and fishing boats. More pliable for working around curves.

20oz: Most versatile - affordable and works for most applications.

24oz: Most popular for pontoons - extra softness and padding for comfort.

28oz: For commercial use and heavy traffic areas requiring maximum durability.

Yes! Most marine flooring products are DIY-friendly. Trailer carpet is the easiest - just staple it on. Marine carpet and woven vinyl require adhesive but are straightforward with proper surface preparation. Marideck PVC requires more prep work including surface etching for fiberglass. All products come with detailed installation instructions. We recommend reviewing our installation blog posts before starting.

With proper care and maintenance: Woven Flexa lasts 10+ years (10-year warranty), Marine Carpeting lasts 3-5 years (3-year warranty), Marideck PVC lasts 5-7 years (2-year warranty), and Trailer Carpet lasts 2-4 years (2-year warranty). Actual lifespan depends on usage, maintenance, and environmental conditions.

All our marine flooring products are designed for wet environments. Woven Flexa and Marideck are made from PVC which doesn't absorb water. The AquaFelt backing promotes airflow and dries quickly. Marine carpet has treated backing to resist mold/mildew. However, proper maintenance is essential - allow flooring to dry, ensure good ventilation, and clean regularly to prevent mold growth on dirt and debris.

Products are sold by the linear foot. Woven Flexa: 3-foot minimum, 102" wide. Marine Carpeting: 5-foot minimum, 102" wide. Marideck PVC: 3-foot minimum, 72" or 102" wide depending on style. Trailer Carpet: 12-foot minimum, available in 9", 12", 18", or 24" widths. Example: Ordering 10 feet means 10 feet long by the specified width.

Regular Maintenance: Vacuum or hose off weekly to prevent dirt buildup.
Deep Cleaning: Use mild dish soap in warm water with a soft bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly.
Stubborn Stains: Try Orange Glo, Citrus Magic, or Simple Green. Let soak 10 minutes before wiping.
Tough Stains: CLR or Tilex can be used sparingly - rinse immediately and thoroughly. Test in hidden area first.
Mildew: Mix 1 cup bleach with 1/4 cup mild soap per gallon of water. Be careful near other fabrics.

All our marine flooring products are UV treated and stabilized to resist fading. However, no flooring is completely fade-proof with extreme sun exposure over many years. Regular cleaning and occasional use of UV protectant sprays can help maintain color. Woven Flexa and Marideck PVC offer the best fade resistance with their high-grade UV stabilization.

Absolutely! These marine-grade products are perfect for RVs, outdoor patios, pool decks, docks, and any outdoor or high-moisture area. The same durability and water-resistance that works on boats makes them ideal for many applications. Many customers use marine carpet and woven vinyl for basement floors, workshops, and commercial spaces.

Woven Flexa: Taylor Resolute AAT 290 (Indoor/Outdoor), AAT390 (Recreational Outdoor), ECO 811 (Indoor), or ECO 420 (Outdoor). Use 1/16 x 1/16 x 1/16 square notch trowel.

Marideck PVC: Marideck Flooring Glue (MD-101 for wood, MD-102 for aluminum/fiberglass).

Marine Carpet: Any marine-grade carpet adhesive suitable for outdoor use.

Trailer Carpet: No adhesive needed - use 3/8" crown staples with 1/2" leg.

Yes! We strongly recommend ordering samples before making your final purchase. Samples allow you to see the actual color, texture, and quality in person. Computer screens can make colors appear different than they are in reality. Free samples are available - contact us to order yours today.

We accept returns on most new and unopened flooring in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. We recommend opening one end slightly to verify it's correct before fully opening. If we make an error, we'll always make it right. Please note that cut or installed flooring cannot be returned.
