SolFlexa Outdoor Fabric
Introducing SolFlexa Outdoor Fabric: a premium fabric revolutionizing boat covers and outdoor furniture with unparalleled quality and performance. SolFlexa Canvas is more than just a fabric — it's a testament to innovation, comfort, and durability that surpasses industry standards.
Featuring outstanding colorfastness and brilliant color brightness, SolFlexa Canvas ensures your boat covers, motorcycle covers, grill covers, bimini tops, patio umbrellas, awnings, and patio furniture remain vibrant and inviting for years to come. Say goodbye to dull, faded fabrics and hello to long-lasting color.
But SolFlexa Canvas isn't just about looks — it's also about function. It's perfect for outdoor use: water resistant, grease-proof, and easy to clean. This fabric is designed to withstand life's messes with ease. Whether it's bird droppings, a spilled drink, or a splash of rain, SolFlexa Canvas keeps your boat and outdoor space looking pristine.
Crafted with precision and attention to detail, SolFlexa Canvas is ideal for a variety of applications. Use it to replace old outdoor furniture, outdoor umbrellas, boat covers, and shade covers. Its versatility knows no bounds, letting you unleash your creativity and transform any space into a luxurious retreat.
This product is water resistant, not waterproof — by design. We want air to flow through the fabric so water doesn't get trapped against your boat. When used as a boat cover, we also recommend vent caps to help with air circulation. SolFlexa Canvas is mold- and mildew-resistant, making it ideal for all your outdoor projects.

Tips
- Use a hot knife to cut the fabric and prevent frayed edges. If needed, use sharp scissors and carefully seal the edges with a lighter. You can also prevent unraveling by finishing seams with a serger or overlock stitch, or a zigzag stitch on a regular sewing machine — or by applying seam sealant or fabric glue to seam edges for added reinforcement.
- Use UV-resistant marine thread to help maintain the integrity of your seams and prevent them from deteriorating over time due to sun exposure.
- When using SolFlexa Canvas as a boat cover, make sure it doesn't rub directly against the seats (especially black canvas) — dark fabric gets very hot in the sun and can damage the vinyl underneath.
- Most upholstery projects call for at least a 1/2" seam allowance.
Flagship Ripstop Boat Canvas
Boat covers work harder than almost any other outdoor fabric — they need to survive highway wind load while trailering, shed rain and UV at the dock, and still let the boat breathe so mold and mildew don't take hold underneath. We offer this in two weights: a premium 300D acrylic-coated canvas with a soft inner liner, and a 200D ripstop for lighter-duty budgets. The higher the denier, the stronger and more water-repellent the fabric, so we'd point most trailered boats toward the 300D.
Waterproof, Yet Breathable
A boat cover that's fully sealed against water is actually a problem, not a feature — trapped moisture underneath a non-breathable tarp is one of the most common causes of mold and mildew on stored boats. Both of our boat canvas weights are woven to stay water-resistant on the outside while still allowing moisture to escape, which is the difference between a cover that protects your boat and one that slowly damages it.
Trailering Covers
If your boat spends time on the highway between the water and storage, the 300D acrylic-coated canvas is built to handle it. It's heavy-duty enough to resist the wind load and road debris that come with trailering, while still flexible enough to fit snugly over bow rails and console covers.
Pontoon & Deck Boat Covers
Wide-beam hulls like pontoons and deck boats need the same water-resistant, breathable protection, just across more surface area. Both fabric weights scale well to these hull shapes — simply account for the extra yardage a wider beam requires when planning your cover.
