FLEXA GRILL & PATIO CANVAS
This 300D canvas is built specifically for outdoor cover use — grills, fire pits, and outdoor kitchens all take a beating from sun, rain, and grease, and this fabric is engineered to shrug off all three. Since we manufacture it ourselves, we control the coating process from start to finish, layering in EverBlack for UV stability, CorrodeBlok for corrosion and stain resistance, and NeverWet for a hydrophobic finish that sheds water and grease rather than absorbing it.
WATERPROOF & STAIN RESISTANT
Grill covers take on a different kind of abuse than most outdoor fabric — grease splatter, ash, and food residue in addition to rain and sun. The NeverWet finish keeps liquids beading on the surface instead of soaking in, and CorrodeBlok keeps grease and food stains from setting. This in no way affects the flexibility or feel of the fabric; it simply gives it a longer, cleaner outdoor life than untreated canvas.
GRILL & BBQ COVERS
This is our most common use for the fabric. It's a simple project to cut the canvas to size for your grill, smoker, or BBQ island, and most customers find it holds up season after season without fading or cracking. The most common weight for this application is our standard 300D, which is heavy enough to resist grease and wind but still easy to cut and sew. Want some help finding the right size? Give our team a call and we can help you figure out yardage for your specific grill or outdoor kitchen setup.
FIRE PIT & OUTDOOR KITCHEN COVERS
Many customers also use this canvas to cover fire pit tables, smokers, and built-in outdoor kitchen appliances. The same waterproof, UV-resistant, stain-resistant properties that protect a grill cover protect these surfaces just as well, so it's an easy one-fabric solution across your whole outdoor cooking setup.

For stubborn stains that won't budge with regular cleaning, you can create a stronger cleaning solution. However, it's important to note that this solution contains bleach, so use caution and test it on a small inconspicuous area first.
What you'll need:
- Bleach: 1 cup
- Mild soap: 1/4 cup
- Clean water: 1 gallon
- Sponge or clean towel: For blotting up stains
Steps:
- Prepare a solution of 1 cup bleach and 1⁄4 cup mild soap per gallon of clean water.
- Apply a small amount of beach and soap mixture.
- Blot stain with a sponge or clean towel.
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Air dry.
Note: Always test the bleach solution on a small, inconspicuous area of the canvas first to ensure it doesn't cause any discoloration. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling bleach, and never mix bleach with other cleaning products.
Yes, Flexa Marine Canvas can be stored for long periods. When storing, ensure the canvas is clean, dry, and free of debris. Ideally, store it rolled up in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Maintaining your Flexa Marine Canvas is simple! Here's what you'll need to do
● Brush off loose dirt.
● Hose down.
● Prepare a solution of water and mild soap such as dishwashing liquid or household cleaner.
● Apply a small amount of water and soap mixture to the Canvas fabric.
● Use a soft bristle brush to clean.
● Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed.
● Air dry it.
● May not require re-treatment depending on the soiling level of the fabric.
While Flexa Marine Canvas is durable, it's generally not recommended to use a pressure washer for cleaning. The high pressure can damage the fibers and potentially lead to leaks. Stick to the gentle cleaning methods mentioned above to maintain the integrity of your canvas.
Flexa Marine Canvas is easy to sew using a heavy-duty sewing machine and upholstery thread. A walking foot attachment can be helpful for smoother feeding through the machine.
